For a lot of years fashion had a pretty specific type that was considered “pretty”. Unfortunately that type was far from reality. Discrimination and false idea of beauty is still a huge problem for the fashion industry but we have taken huge steps to the right direction. So here are my five  favorite models!

1. Iskra Lawrence   A stunning blonde that is not afraid to be goofy and kick the haters in the butt! Plus totally Instagram goals!
2. Winnie Harlow   A gorgeous 21 year old that showed us beauty is everywhere. Even in a chronic skin condition!
3. Rebekah Marine  A beautiful badass that needs to star in a sci-fi film ASAP! Can someone make it happen?
4. Madeline Stuart   The cutest nineteen year old that puts the rest of us nineteen year olds to shame! ( Can sitting on my laptop be considered changing the world? No? Ok…)
5. Philomena Kwao   Another stunning woman showing us that all sizes and colors are beautiful in their own unique way!

Summer feels with a handmade straw bag.

Ok I know it’s almost Christmas buuut I just got this bag and I just cannot wait to tell you all about it.

First of all it gives me so many girl boss feels. It’s amazing for a business situation but not strict and heavy so it’s perfect for the summer months for work as well as a night out. It is so versatile that if you are good with styling you can definitely also incorporate it in a winter outfit.

But what makes this bag as well as everything thing else from VT Thai special is the creating process. According to the site all of the materials used are from local suppliers and natural. Moreover, the bag you will be holding might take more than a month to create and almost a couple of weeks for preparing the material for weaving. It can be made only manually and not by machine so what you will get will definitely be one of a kind.

Every material carries a unique story behind it. For example, according to the site water Hyacinth has been brought by King Rama V to Thailand more than 100 years ago. At first, Water Hyacinth has been planted in the palace and then King Rama V passed it to his royal family in the palace. And then they gave it to Thai people.

All in all, it is an amazing unique bag that carries years of craftsmanship and history behind it and it’s an item that you will keep and wear for years.

Pandora Bracelet Setup

Okay I am not big on jewelry but I have found a new hobby. Designing my Pandora bracelet! Okay I know it’s not really a hobby and it is kind of expensive but I find it really relaxing at the end of the day opening up Pandora’s latest catalog and making plans about how my bracelet is going to turn out. So I thought I would share with you it’s current state and I will be adding to the post as I go!

Centerpiece: Hearts Dangle Charm

This is the only dangle charm I will be including on my bracelet so that I can keep it as a centerpiece.

This infinity charm is so beautiful and sweet and is also on the cheap side of the charms. I would love to add another rose gold round charm to maintain a symmetry.

Pro Tip: The silver bangles (and charms) are cheaper. By getting a silver base and adding rose gold accents you can create a key piece of jewelry that you can use as a medium to pair other silver and rose gold jewelry. And it’s cheaper than getting a completely rose gold bracelet and charms.

Ridiculously easy ways to spice up your braids!

Put a ring on it

Courtesy of the lovely Shay Mitchell an amazing idea to give your braids something extra. Just put a ring on it! (Or a lot of them!) No one can stop you. You can go crazy with it but I do love the subtle and sophisticated look Shay has opted for. My braids will never be ringless!!

Cuff it

Hair cuffs are really easy to find and use. They can turn even the most simple ponytail into a put together, unique look. You can even find them embedded on hair elastics. Same amount of effort for a gorgeous look? Yes please!

No I haven’t gotten crazy… Yet! While braiding your hair you can add a ribbon making them a lot more unique!

Morning Skincare Routine

Today I would like to share with you guys my morning routine that I do everyday some days,if I remember and I am not already an hour late. Although I understand the benefits of a ten step skin care routine this is not something I can do. So here’s my small, humble morning skincare routine.

Cleansing

L’Oréal Ideal Fresh Foaming Cleanser

I like this cleanser because it’s pretty heavy duty. It takes off all of my makeup and dirt off my face. But because it’s so strong it’s also really drying. If you have a dry skin I would not recommend.

Moisturizing

Clinique Eye Cream

I’ve been using this eye cream for a while and I am not really crazy about it. It is somewhat moisturizing but not out of this world best eye cream around.

Charlotte Tilbury Face Cream

Last, I use my Charlotte Tilbury face cream. I really like it because it’s really moisturizing and has SPF which helps cut my routine further down. Check out the full review!

Melted Matte by Too Faced-Review

First of all I have to say that this is my first time trying out a too faced product. ( I know where was I living?) Anyway I am a lipstick hoarder and since I am the worst with eye makeup I settled for a matte lipstick in the color sell out which is a pinkish, brownish nude.

I was impressed. Firstly I really enjoyed the color on me. But because color is personal I would suggest trying out before buying. Too Faced products are known for their sweet smells. This lipstick was not any different. It had a nice smell that was not overpowering. Again though many people do not like face products with strong smells so if that’s the case for you I would stay clear from Too Faced. The opacity was great with one coat. Although matte the lipstick was not at all drying but as with all matte lipsticks you have to start with a good base because any dryness you have on your lips will show. The applicator was also really good quality and it was easy to get a precise line.

Last, it stayed on for at least five hours and even when it started to come off it left a really nice tint. Also it contains “Volulip” that provides a really nice plumpness without stinging.

All in all it is a really great lipstick if you like or are okay with fragranced makeup and want a tad fuller lips.

Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Cream – Review

What is it?
Charlotte’s magic cream is a daily face moisturizer with SPF 15 and UVA protection.

What does it do?

The cream contains Unique ‘multi-tasking’ anti-age BioNymph Peptide Complex that stimulates collagen production. It features hyaluronic acid and wild pansy extracts that seal-in moisture. Rosehip and camellia oils and antioxidant vitamin E transforms dull complexions so you can get hydrated, youthful, glowing skin. Plus it’s paraben-free.

The packaging.

As I have said many times Charlotte Tilbury’s packaging is gorgeous and totally matches my aesthetic. The box is really unique. You pull apart the two sides to reveal ” The magic dew of youth and luminosity in jar.”

It has a clear body while the lid is in the classic Charlotte Tilbury reddish brown and coppery rose gold.

The formula.

For this particular product the formula is a game changer. I have tried many face creams and although all of them gave me enough moisture Charlotte’s magic cream is the only one that helped a lot with the dry patches on my nose and chin. It feels thick and luxurious and is not greasy.

Would I recommend it?

Yes! For someone who has trouble with dry skin and is on the lookout for a great day cream. ( And is bored to first put on moisturizer and then sunscreen. Nobody has time for that!) I understand it is pricey but I honestly believe it’s worth the extra bucks. Plus from my point of view skincare is the most important part of our routines and if I am going to invest in a product it will be a skincare one.

Greatest purchase of the year? Estée Lauder Color Portfolio Review

I just bought the Estée Lauder 2017 color portfolio for 60 euros. For that price I got 30 eyeshadows, 6 lipsticks, 2 blushes, 2 highlighters and 2 bronzers. This translates to less than 2 euros for each individual pan which is a bargain considering it still is Estée Lauder.

The eyeshadows are all gorgeous, blendable and the selection is great from matte to simmer and from nudes to darks.

The lipsticks are also pigmented and lightweight and fade out to a nice stain.

The bronzers are really creamy and natural.

The only things that are okay but not great are the two highlighters and the two blushes. They are not by any means bad but not too pigmented and buildable. They are quite nice for a natural look but definitely not great for a night out. Other than that the palette at this price is a huge bargain and if you find it anywhere I would definitely recommend it.

PS. Not the most sturdy packaging but it gets the job done.
